Correcting and editing captions in Panopto videos

Edit the captions

There are two ways of editing your captions on your Panopto videos, either directly on the screen or through the Edit Caption window.

Directly


Click in the box with the word that needs to be corrected. All the words in the box will become highlighted.


Click on the word that needs to be corrected and correct the word.


Click outside of the box to accept the changes.

Edit Caption window


Click the more items icon [1] the the right of the box with the word that needs to be corrected and select the word Edit [2]


Edit the captions as necessary [1].
Click Save {2] to save the changes.

Apply the changes to save the updates to captions


Click Apply to save the updates to the captions.
