Deleting auto-captions from Panopto videos

While faculty cannot "turn off" captions for their videos, faculty can delete, the auto-generated captions if the auto-captions on the Panopto video do not meet the desired accuracy level. Captions can be corrected More information on correcting captions can be found at 
Adding automatic closed captions to Panopto videos

Delete captions using the Settings window.


Locate the desired Panopto video and click the Settings gear. The Settings window will appear.

Click on Captions [1].
Click the expand triangle [2]. Additional options will appear.
Click Delete Captions [3].


Click OK to confirm the deletion.


Click the Close button [x] to close the settings window.
