Enabling Passcodes for existing Zoom meetings in Canvas

To enable passcodes for existing Zoom meetings in Canvas:


Click Zoom in the course navigation.


Click the Topic/Meeting link.


Click Edit this Meeting


Check the box Passcode, and enter a passcode, if necessary.


Click Save

  1. You do not have to resend anything to students who are clicking the links in Canvas-Zoom.
  2. You may need to update the recurring link in the Calendar.
  3. If you invited guest speakers, you will need to resend the invitation.
