Provide Double-Time/Extended-Time in MindTap

To provide double-time/extended-time in MindTap:
  1. Click a link to your MindTap course in Canvas, and click load in a new window. MindTap will load in a new window.
  2. Click Open Gradebook, or go to the bottom of the right-hand navigation bar and click the Progress button. The gradebook will appear.
  3. Click the name of the student who is receiving double-time/extended-time. Their Learning Path list will appear.
Do the following for each timed item:
  1. Click the name of the item. The item's details window will appear.
  2. Click the Extend Time Limit icon.
  3. Enter the extended time amount, which will be double the time limit. (e.g. You will enter 120 minutes for a 60-minute time limit)
  4. Click Save
