Accessing Zoom outside of Canvas

If you are interested in recording a Zoom lecture in advance or hosting a Zoom meeting without inviting your entire class, you will need to access Zoom outside of Canvas. You can access Zoom through the Zoom website or with the desktop client.

Accessing Zoom through the browser

  1. Go to https://seminolestate.zoom.us/
  2. Click Sign in
  3. Sign in with your Seminole State email address and unique Zoom password.

Accessing Zoom through the Desktop Client

  1. Launch the Zoom Meetings application. (It may also be called Start Zoom.)
  2. Click Sign In.
  3. Sign in with your Seminole State email address and unique Zoom password.
