Using a Virtual Background in Zoom

You can select a virtual background from either the Zoom application or during a Zoom meeting.

From the Zoom application


Open the Zoom application and click the Settings gear.


From the menu click Background & Filters [1] and select a virtual background option [2].

During a Zoom meeting


During a Canvas meeting, click the menu button (^) [1] on the Start/Stop video button and select Choose Virtual Background...[2].


From the menu click Background & Filters [1] and select a virtual background option [2].
