Sharing Panopto Recordings with other faculty

When a faculty member (the viewer) cannot view videos shared by another faculty member (the creator), the reason is normally a permissions setting.

If the videos are in a specific term-class folder, such as Fall 2020 - IDD2143, viewing permissions are limited to only the members of that class. The resolution is to:
  1. Create a new subfolder in your My Folder
  2. Move the videos to the new subfolder. (This will not break any links.)
  3. Set permissions for new subfolder to "anyone at your organization with the link", or to "anyone with the link".
If the videos are not in a term specific folder, then make sure the viewing permissions of the video are set to anyone at your organization with the link" or to "anyone with the link".
